four minarets rising from each
córner of the courtyard.

As a natural and extremely secure
harbor, the Colden Horn has played
an important role ¡n the development
of Istanbul. The ¡nlet separates the

approximately 8 km long, and the

Bosphorus. Two streams drain into
this inlet at its far end.
